Review:
Missionary work in Java during the 50’s is explored through the use of the PaDavid’s diary. He relates the people he meets and the work of the gospel among the nominal Christians from the Dutch colonial church, the Catholics and Moslems. The people were starved for spiritual food and responded to the truth with enthusiasm. For those interested in missionary work among Moslems this is a helpful account of what was appealing to them.
