This book is refreshing for the honesty of the author in revealing how worn down a person can become while caring for aging relatives, even when faith is strong. Over the course of 17 months, Judith was the primary contact person for her parents, aunt, uncle, and a brother who was critically injured in a farming accident. She tracked all their paperwork, spent hours and hours visiting in hospitals and care facilities, and planned all the funerals. Although a strong individual, in the end she was forced to accept that the stress had affected her own health. Her faith grew deeper, and God revealed new things to her throughout the ordeal.
