This book read just like one of Sister Helen’s sermons. She is a phenomenal and convicting speaker who I grew up admiring. Being that she visited my church often, she shared her struggles with being single from time to time as her way of encouraging other singles. This book is a testimony of what happened in her life when she held on to a promise she felt she had from the Lord. It’s a quick read but one I’m glad I read.
