Navarra explains the background, how he and his father researched the location, and describes in detail their traveling experiences, with pictures and maps. The author describes some of the history of the search for the ark, and explains why the geography, culture, and politics of the ark have made it difficult for other people to find the location.

Although the book is a documentary, it is far from dry. Navarra makes the real life events easily readable and shows that truth is stranger than fiction. This book is unique in its content and should be read by any doubting Thomases interested in what really happened.
